God’s Word For 2012! Part One!

Text: Hebrews 11:12,17-19.

“And so a whole nation came from Abraham, who was too old to have even one
child-a nation with so many millions of people that, like the stars of the
sky and the sand on the ocean shores, there is no way to count them.
17 While God was testing him, Abraham still trusted in God and his
promises, and so he offered up his son Isaac and was ready to slay him on
the altar of sacrifice;
18 yes, to slay even Isaac, through whom God had promised to give Abraham
a whole nation of descendants!
19 He believed that if Isaac died God would bring him back to life again;
and that is just about what happened, for as far as Abraham was concerned,
Isaac was doomed to death, but he came back again alive!” The Living
Bible.

Exactly November 12, 2011 at about 5:00 a.m. at Peabody Hotel, Warri, the
Lord gave me this vision for 2012. He said to me, 2012 is a year of
expansion…explosion. In 2012, we shall expand to the right and to the
left. He said that we shall expand beyond borders. We shall cross lines
that are humanly impossible. He showed me a vision of a fire ball
containing millions of fire. As the heat stretches the ball to its limit,
the ball explodes to release each fire into the atmosphere. The wind
carries each fire and spreads them across the entire universe. The moment
each fire touches a portion of the earth, it lights it up until the whole
universe is lighted up with fire.

This revelation can mean several things as it touches several parts of
human life and existence. The word used for fire in the Old Testament
Hebrew is commonly used for light as well. So, fire is to light up a
person or place or position or purpose. That is why I believe that this
year, the fire of God will light up more people and places. We shall see
the light of God’s word spread more than ever before in spite of the
oppositions from religious fanatics. God’s word has the capacity to
increase especially where darkness is strongest. The force of God’s light
is most potent in the darkest corners of life. No darkness has the
capacity to withstand the force of God’s word. John 1:5 tells us that the
light shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot withstand it. No
resistance can survive the force of God’s word.

By this word, I dare you in the name of Jesus to keep speaking God’s word
to yourself, your marriage, your ministry, your business, your government,
etc, even in the face of contradictory situations. Refuse to accept the
lies of the Devil when he presents them as facts or figures that you can
reason with and logically accept. The Devil and his cohorts operate in the
sense realm and that is why they used what you can see, feel, taste, hear
and smell to connect with you in ways that you cannot ignore. But super
impose God’s word over what you are presented with. Watch the power of
God’s word work as it neutralizes what you know as facts into nothingness.
This is how we can explain healing miracles. Someone tells you they are
sick. They symptoms are obvious. The doctors confirmed it. When God’s word
is super imposed on that same body over time, the same facts that were
glaring dissolve into thin air. It is the power of God’s fire that
consumes anything that is not looking like the Word.

The next implication of the revelation that the Lord showed me about 2012
is the implication of fire in origin. Primitive people used to believe
that fire is supernatural and as such divine in nature. Fire indeed is
supernatural when you consider the belief systems from the past. In the
Bible, several times we see God as fire. In Genesis 3:24, He was the
flaming sword that has kept mankind from discovering the actual
geographical location of the Garden of Eden. No archeological expedition
can locate where the Garden of Eden is. It is not in heaven. It is here on
earth but the fire of God keeps it away from man’s discovery. We have seen
God as the pillar of fire that led the Israelites through the wilderness
journey. So you can conclude that God is fire. In fact, He is called a
consuming fire. Deut. 4:24. 9:3. Heb. 12:29. Don’t mess with God because
He consumes like fire. No wonder when He accepts people sacrifices, He
descends as fire to eat up the sacrifices. When He is displeased with
people, He descends as fire to consume them.

By this word, in 2012, we shall see God as fire indeed. As fire, He will
protect His own from danger and disaster. No matter what happens around
the world, as long as you are His, be rest assured that He will surround
you with His fire of protection. No kidnapper, assassin, murderer, robber,
thief, burglar, oppressor, etc will see you to be able to touch you. You
will be preserved even when disaster comes. There shall be more
earthquakes, tsunamis, flood, etc. But you shall be safe in Jesus name.
Amen. We shall see God’s fire burn up every sacrifice we offer to Him in
sincerity of heart as His mark of our acceptance. When God accepts you, no
man can reject you. We will also see God consume everything and everyone
that is displeasing to Him. Get ready, anything in you that is not
pleasing to Him will be consumed. You will be saved by fire. 1 Cor.
3:13-15.

Fire as a multiplier impact when set. No matter how gigantic a building
is, one tiny little fire can bring it down to rubbles. All it takes to
raise down an entire city is a little fire. In 1 Samuel 30, we see the
devastating impact of fire as it raised down an entire city. God destroyed
Sodom and Gomorrah with fire. Interestingly, this present world is
reserved to be destroyed by fire. 2 Peter 3:7. Even the heavens we see
above us can be dissolved by fire. 2 Peter 3:12. That is the power of
fire. The most resistant issues you have had shall be dissolved by the
fire of God’s word and presence. The most resistant forces that have
weakened the church shall be dissolved by fire. The beauty of this is the
fact that a little fire here and a little fire there, will light up the
entire universe. I am located in Port Harcourt. I am here to light up the
fire here. You may be located in London to light up the fire there.
Someone else is located in Japan to light up the fire there. Another
person is located in Canada, Florida, Brazil, Sydney, etc. When we all
light the fire in each location, before this year ends, we shall see the
entire universe lighted up with the fire of God’s word and presence. Glory
to God!

GOOD REPORT

My beloved, happy happy new year 2012!
“And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How
beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring
glad tidings of good things!” Rom. 10:15.

I am so excited to bring you this GOOD REPORT the eight day of January
2012. Why am I so excited? You may ask. I should be. Is that not why we
greet HAPPY NEW YEAR? It is supposed to be happy all the way. This is in
spite of all the killings of Christians by the terrorist group called Boko
Haram. They shall soon disappear from our country in Jesus name. Amen. My
joy is also in spite of the removal of fuel subsidy that has increased the
cost of petroleum products above one hundred percent. It is tough but we
are still more than a conqueror. We can go through any situation and still
be joyful. No wonder Emperor Nero of Rome was so miserable in the early
century of Christianity. He was the one killing the Christians, yet he was
the one miserable from doing what he did. The major reason was that at
inspection of the bodies of the dead saints, he noticed that they were all
happy. Why would someone be happy when they are eaten up by lions? It is
what I know as the joy of salvation. Glory to God!

My greatest joy is springing from the IJAW DAY OF PRAYER, PRAISE AND
THANKSGIVING service we had yesterday (Saturday 7 January 2012) here in
Warri where I have been since Friday. It was a great service as hundreds
of Ijaw men and women gathered together from different churches and
backgrounds. Major Ijaw traditional rulers were present to celebrate, pray
and hear a word from God at my mouth for the year 2012. I was really
overjoyed to see my tribal group receive me with such honor. The Grand
Patron, an elder statesman, Rev. Dr. I. C. Tolar, the Coordinator, Rev.
Dr, Godwins Soroaye and a prominent Ijaw minister for almost three
decades, Rev. Benson German led me to the grounds to receive a bouquet of
flowers. This is the first time I will be received like this by my own
people and in the city of Warri. I was humbled by God’s word as I see His
word come to pass.

I like to take you down memory lane so that you will appreciate what the
Lord is doing with us in this ministry. I was born in Lagos. My father,
Joel Amamieye, was rich. So I was not born poor. In his days, he was
Commissioner for The Boys Scout in the then Lagos state. So he must have
been a prominent man. He became personal manager of WAHUM, a manufacturing
company in Lagos. A robbery operation on the van that brought the money
for workers salary cost my father’s life to be short on earth. The only
testimony that was used to nail my father was what the gate man said. He
told the company and kangaroo court that my father specifically instructed
him not to open the company gate when the money van arrived. So while the
van was at the gate, the notorious criminal, Oyenusi and his gang attacked
and robbed the van. Unfortunately, that day, my father got to work late
after the robbery incidence. Even though Oyenusi told them that they don’t
know my father not to talk of working on his instruction, they refused to
listen.

My father had no lawyer to represent him. No one to speak for him as
Nigeria just came out of the civil war. There was also this anger against
the Ijaw man for what Isaac Boro did. While the kangaroo trial was on,
General Gowon promulgated the decree of death by firing squad.
Incidentally, my father along with Oyenusi became the first to be killed
by firing squad. From Kirikiri prison to the stake, my father cried for
his innocence. Even up till today, sometimes, I hear my father’s cry. This
is the more reason I get infuriated by injustice. When I hear someone is
killed, my blood pumps up. I want to know why he was killed. I want to
know if it was true. Something in me wants to know if they were given a
fair hearing.

As the news of my father’s killing went across the land, the national
newspaper, Daily Times carried it as a front page news. One of my father’s
very dear friends in New York saw the news on television. He was so
weakened by it that he took some days off work. When this man was in
Nigeria struggling to find himself, he had stayed with my father for one
year. According to him, my father even wrote several letters to several of
his friends to help him to travel out of Nigeria back in those days. So up
until this day, he has fond memories of my father. When I am in New York,
I stay in his home although he and his wife of over forty years are
retired, he is still a strong man.

In 1971, we moved to Warri. I grew up here in Warri. Having seen my
father’s death, I was never the same. My whole life turned brutal and
base. I was rough and rugged while growing up here in Warri. I was brutal.
I was bad. I did all manner of bad things as a revenge against the system
and society. It was at the brink of joining a cult group that would have
empowered me to disappear after an operation that I had an encounter with
Christ. The past three decades of knowing Christ personally and intimately
has changed my entire life. Today, I am a living proof of the saving power
of Christ. It was here in Warri I did all the bad things as a sinner. It
was here I got saved. It was here I started preaching. It was here I
pastored my first church fellowship in 1983 that grew from a handful to
over four hundred in 1984. My first city wide crusade was help here in
Warri in 1985. It was from here I moved to Port Harcourt twenty two years
ago.

Now, twenty two years after, I was received by my own people as the
prophetic voice for the hour. So you can see why I am happy. Well, my joy
was full when some dozens of Ijaw youths came protesting with placards
while I was preaching at the prayer ground. It would have disrupted the
service because the young men we had as Ushers and Security were also
ready for any eventualities. But God turned it around. Every one of those
boys were on their knees as I shared my own story with them. They saw that
I was no different from them but Jesus saved me. At last, all of them
received Christ into their lives. The change has begun. I gave them The
Word For You Today devotional. That is our quarterly devotional we send to
partners. Request yours when you partner with us. The seeds sown will
blossom in Jesus name. Amen.

Like our text tells us, the feet of those who preach the gospel are
beautiful. Why? What we preach has the capacity to turn beasts into
beauties. We beautify lives. We beautify our world with the power of the
gospel. But then, there is a question there: how shall they preach except
they be sent? We are ready to take this gospel to the ends of the earth
but we need those who will send us with their money and materials. It
takes a lot of money to go from place to place, village to village, city
to city, country to country. Will you partner with us this year? I am
asking you to pray about going with us from where you are located by
sending us. Send me an email: mike@aggressivefaith.org and tell me that
you want to send me to the villages, cities and twenty nations we have
listed to reach this year. You can do it. Do it in Jesus name. Amen!

A Look At 2012

Text: Deut. 6:1 to 3.

“1. NOW THIS is the instruction, the laws, and the precepts which the Lord
your God commanded me to teach you, that you might do them in the land to
which you go to possess it,
2. That you may [reverently] fear the Lord your God, you and your son and
your son’s son, and keep all His statutes and His commandments which I
command you all the days of your life, and that your days may be
prolonged.
3. Hear therefore, O Israel, and be watchful to do them, that it may be
well with you and that you may increase exceedingly, as the Lord, the God
of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.”
Amplified Version.

As we move into this New Year, this scripture gives us clear instructions
on what to expect and what to do to see what you expect come to pass. It
is a new year just like a new land, a new territory, a new career, a new
house, a new car and a new life. What do you expect when you get something
new? You expect something different from what you were used to. You expect
so much from this new thing that you just can’t wait to open it.

One, it is a new land. You have never been here before. Approach it with
great zest and expectations. Let your expectations go beyond the sky.
Expect more than what you have ever known or had. God wants you to aim
high and expect the best. This land is a promise from God to you. So you
are entering your promised land as you walk into the New Year. God
promised you. Now He has delivered His promise to you by letting you walk
into this Promised Land called 2012. You have entered your Promised Land.
Get excited about it!

Two, it is a land flowing with milk and honey. It does not look like when
you stepped into it, you will see milk and honey line up the streets.
There are people who will live in this land and will never see the milk
and honey God promised them in this new land. You must make up your mind
to see only what God told you that you will see in this new land. Choose
to see milk and honey in this new land. Milk is food for growth. Honey
makes your life sweet. In this new land, you shall have food that will
cause you to grow well and healthy in Jesus name. Your life will be sweet
so that you can add sweetness to life. You will no longer be an addendum
in life. You will no longer be a spare tire in Jesus name. Amen. By this
word, your name will be removed from the supplementary list to the chosen
list in Jesus name. God is upgrading you from the backside to the front
stage.

Three, it is a land where your life will be prolonged. Your life will be
elongated. In other words, your significance and relevance will span
several coasts. While you are located in Port Harcourt for instance like
me, your significance and relevance will extend beyond the continent of
Africa to other parts of our known world. You will be touching lives in
Asia, Africa, America, Australia, Europe and the Oceania from where you
are. This is what is called dominion. It is your capacity to touch many
lives from one place. You may never be able to travel to faraway places in
Africa or Asia, but your relevance and significance will be felt by people
in these distant lands. This is the reason we extend partnership to people
like you. It is an opportunity for you to extend your life and to make
your life really significant. You can partner with us today from where you
by sending us an email: mike@aggressivefaith.org. I will send you more
information on this.

Now that you expect new things in this new land, what do you do when you
get a new package? The first thing to do is to read the manual for the
working of this new thing. Right? Most black people don’t read the manual
and that is why the black men have been behind. In fact, it was a white
man who told me that if you want to keep a secret from a black man, put it
in writing. This is true. As I travel around the world with my books, I
have seen that they are mostly purchased and read by white people. Reading
is the key to living. God is so big that we can never know Him. However,
He has reduced Himself to words that we can read so that we can live. So,
if you don’t read, how then can you know God? God is the Word.

From our text, you can see that God gives instructions for living in the
new land. If you must enter the new land, you must follow His
instructions. If you must live in the new land, you must follow His
instructions. If you must see and enjoy the milk and honey in the new
land, you must follow His instruction. If you must live well and long, you
must follow His instructions. It seems to be that His instructions are
what carry the new land. That is why some people can live in the new land
for ever and never see the milk and honey simply because they are not
following the instructions God has given. The new land is not a location
in America or Africa or Asia or Europe. The new land is in God’s
instruction to you as a person. The milk and honey is not lining the
streets of the Promised Land. The milk and honey is in the instruction
that He has given. No wonder as long as any man listens to God’s
instructions and follow them, he will see the milk and honey. This will be
in spite of the economic state. God does not know economic recession. He
has more than enough to take care of the over seven billion people on
earth today.

God commands the preachers and teachers of the word to teach the
instructions of God to the people. This is the reason I send you this
devotional weekly. I am teaching you the instructions that will enable you
enter your Promised Land and enjoy all that God has for you in this new
land. 1 Corinthians 4:1 tells us, “So Apollos and I should be looked upon
as Christ’s servants who distribute God’s blessings by explaining God’s
secrets.”The Living Bible. Each time I am teaching you the word, I am
distributing the blessing of God to you by explaining God’s secrets. By
this message, I am distributing the blessing of God for 2012.

God’s instruction to you as you read is to hear His word and observe to do
them. Hear and obey His instructions to you. That is the key to the
Promised Land. It is the key to the new land, the New Year, the new house,
the new car, the new life. May you hear His voice loud and clear this year
so that you will observe to do what He tells you to do per time in Jesus
name. Amen. Happy New Year!

The Christmas Story

Text: Luke 2:8 to 14.

And in that vicinity there were shepherds living [out under the open sky]
in the field, watching [in shifts] over their flock by night.
9And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the
Lord flashed and shone all about them, and they were terribly
frightened.
10But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring
you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people.
11For to you is born this day in the town of David a Savior, Who is
Christ (the Messiah) the Lord!
12And this will be a sign for you [by which you will recognize Him]:
you will find [after searching] a Baby wrapped in swaddling clothes
and lying in a manger
13Then suddenly there appeared with the angel an army of the troops of
heaven (a heavenly knighthood), praising God and saying,
14Glory to God in the highest [heaven], and on earth peace among men
with whom He is well pleased [men of goodwill, of His favor].
Amplified Version.

We are just a few days to Christmas, a day billions of people around the
world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. For most part of the world,
December 25 in the Gregorian calendar has been agreed upon as the actual
birthday of Jesus Christ our Lord. This same date corresponds with January
7 in the Julian calendar. So whether it is December 25 or January 7, we
are in the season that marks the birth of the one man whose existence has
altered human historicity. It is such that all records are date either
before Him (that is Before Christ) or after Him (that is after His death).

Over the years since the date was established in the fourth century as the
birth day of Jesus Christ, many thinkers, philosophers, theologians and
historians have argued about the actual date. Many have argued for this
date while some have argued against it. At the end of all the arguments,
the most important thing is the fact that Jesus Christ was born and His
entry into humanity totally has changed the course of nature. There is no
denial any more of the fact that Jesus is significant. There is no
controversy any more that Jesus is relevant. His relevance spans culture,
creed and country lines. His relevance alters racial and religious frames.
His relevance and significance touches both heaven and earth realms.

From our text above, we can see that the Christmas story actually began
from heaven. We see the angel that brought the news came from heaven. When
he announced the birth of baby Jesus, there were hosts of angels, an army
of angels, praising God. It must have been an exciting news indeed for an
army to be jubilating. An army is supposed to be war minded and battle
ready. But this time, they were celebrating. As I write this message, I am
in California, where I see the excitement in the air because it is
Christmas. Yes, the harsh economic downturn is still there but people are
in the mode for celebration because Jesus was born in a time like this.
There is tension and stress around. Yet, the announcement of the birth of
Jesus drowns all the stress. People must celebrate because the season
creates an atmosphere of celebration.

The story began in heaven and winds up on earth. When the first news was
heralded in our text, there were just a few shepherds who were opportune
to hear the news. Now, the news fills the whole earth. Billions of people
around the world are aware of what happened two thousand years ago.
Although the story is old, it is still new. In fact, it is an old story
happening to new people. It never gets old. It is always as fresh as it
was two thousand years ago. The freshness of this news tells us its
message. It is the message of good tidings. That is why it is called good
news!

It is not the story that is fresh. It is the message. The angel said that
the message was good news that will bring great joy to all people. “… I
bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people.”
Luke 2:10. The message will bring great joy to all people in spite of
their race, color, gender, status or bias. It will bring great joy to the
black, white, green or colored. It will bring great joy to the Asian,
African, American, Australian and European. No matter your religious bias,
this message will bring great joy to you. This is why this message should
not be limited to some. It should not be restricted to a few because every
human needs great joy in life. Who wants to be miserable through life? No
one, I guess. Who wants to go through life sad? No one, I guess. Then,
this message is for all people of all races.

What is the message that makes the Christmas story relevant and
significant? It is simple. The angel said, “For to you is born this day in
the town of David a Savior, Who is Christ (the Messiah) the Lord!” Luke
2:11. The message is about the Person of Jesus Christ. The message is
about the Savior, the Christ, the Messiah and the Lord. Every human being
born into this world needs a Savior, the One who saves from sin and its
consequences. From the first man, Adam, who sinned against God to you and
me, we are all sinners. Since the first man sinned, his genes are in each
of us. Thus, we all became sinners not necessarily by what we have done
but by the bloodline. Romans 3:22-23 says, “…For there is no difference;
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” You are not
different from me or the person next to you. Galatians 3:22 says, “But the
Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus
Christ might be given to all those who believe.” Wow!

That is the good news! Yes, we were all confined to the prison house of
sin in this flesh. Yet, there is an escape for each of us. That escape is
Jesus Christ, the Savior! The word savior means someone who rescues or
saves or delivers another from danger or harm. Jesus came on a rescue
mission. This mission was declared before He was born in Matthew 1:21,
“And she shall bring forth a Son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS, for
He shall save His people from their sins.” He declared His mission in Luke
19:10, “For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was
lost.” This is His mission. This is the message. This is His story. This
can be your story only if you believe in the message by receiving Jesus
Christ into your heart today.

The Christmas story is only complete when those to whom the message was
sent receive the message, the Person of Jesus Christ into their hearts.
Why should you receive Him? He will bring you great joy. Why not another
person? He is the Christ, the One anointed by God as Savior. None other
has been anointed or appointed by God to save or rescue or deliver you.
Jesus is the ONLY Savior. You can receive Him today by saying out loud,
‘Jesus, I believe in my heart that You are the One sent by God to save and
deliver me. Come into my heart this moment. Take Your place as the Lord of
my life from this moment. Jesus Christ, I confess You as my Lord, my
Savior, my Messiah. Amen.’

Merry Christmas!

Dealing With Your Fears

Text: Exodus 14:13 to 15.

Fear is a feeling that is aroused in the presence or expectation of
danger. It is usually aroused by what we see, hear, feel or think. It can
therefore be reduced to sight and sound. From what you see or hear, your
emotions deduce an expectation of danger or the presence of it. From our
text, the Israelites were afraid because of the danger of death. The facts
were obvious. The Red Sea was before them, mountains besides them and
behind them were their enemies who were coming for the kill. The sights
and sounds were enough to create the feelings of fear in any human being.

As I write this message, I remember the feeling my wife and I had when we
escaped death last year boxing day. I was driving to keep an appointment
after church. In a bid to overtake several cars to get ahead, I came head
on with this trailer that the driver decided to step on his accelerator.
The driver, obviously demon possessed was going for the kill. Although, I
had to brush another car to escape, it was a close shave. My wife trembled
for a long while. It was the next day that my whole body began to tremble
when the weight of what we were delivered from hit me. I thought about my
children, my family and several other things that evoked this fear that my
wife and I could have gone just like that. God forbid!

You can identify with these Israelites if you have been through
experiences of life that caused you great fear. Experiences that made the
hairs of your body to stand up like it did Job. Job was so afraid that his
body trembled, his bones shook and his hairs stood up. Job 4:14-15. That
is what fear can do. I think that from time to time, every human being
experience fear even though some display a posture that makes people think
they are never afraid. Particularly we men before our wives, we tend to
display a posture of confidence even when we are most fearful. You know,
from upbringing, you don’t want a girl to know that you are weak by
displaying emotions of fear. However, fear is implanted in the fallen man
from the Garden of Eden. When Adam sinned against God, the spirit of fear,
trepidation, tremor and timidity, took hold of the human nature. Adam
said, “…I was afraid…and I hid myself.” Gen. 3:10. Since then, every human
being born into this world is afraid of one thing or the other.

Look at your life and ask yourself: is there anything that you are afraid
of? As this year is rolling by so fast, are you gripped with fear of how
you will pay your bills? Are you afraid that you might not be able to meet
up with your rent and that you might be homeless very soon? Are you afraid
that you might not be able to meet your obligations for one reason or the
other? God put this message in my heart for you. He wants to deal with
your fears. He will deliver you from your fears in Jesus name. Amen.

While these Israelites were afraid, they said all kinds of things they
were not supposed to say. That is what fear does to us. Listen to what
people say and you will locate what they are afraid of. Listen to yourself
and you will see what you are afraid of. Fear speaks just like faith
speaks. Every time you are afraid, you say things that are not true. Yes,
they are not true in the light of God’s word. That is why you must deal
with your fears today. Several months are gone already in the year. You
still have a couple of months to make a great mark. Fear must leave your
being because you can walk in total confidence in God’s ability at work in
you.

Moses spoke what destroys fear. He said to them, Fear not, stand still and
see the salvation of the Lord. That is what destroys fear. Fear not. 365
times it is written in the Bible, Fear not or do not be afraid. It is so
because every day of your life, you need a capsule of fear not. Tell
yourself when you wake up in the morning, I fear not. I am not afraid. I
refuse to fear. I am bold as a lion. I am more than a conqueror. Fear
speaks. To dissolve fear, let your faith speak. Rom. 10:6-10. Speak what
will save you. Speak what you want to see. Speak God’s word to your
situation, your body, your marriage, your ministry, your business. Speak
because what you say is really what will come to pass eventually. Num.
14:28.

When you speak to the point where you can become still and quiet, then you
know that you have conquered your fear. Speak until you are still, quiet
and peaceful. It is in this state of quietness that you can hear God say a
word to you that will give you direction from that point. Psa. 46:10. You
can’t make the right decision when you are harassed and hassled. That is
why even in the court of law, decisions made as a result of duress are
nullified. Every word that you have spoken in your moments of fear can be
nullified when you begin to speak faith filled words. Mark 11:23 tells us
that you shall have whatsoever you say. In fact, Jesus said that you shall
have whatsoever you saith. That is continuous speaking until you see it
come to pass. Don’t stop speaking until you see it come to pass.

Finally, see God’s salvation. What you saw in your mind or mirror was what
evoked the fear. Now, change what you see. See God at work. See God save
and heal. See God deliver you. Don’t expect the worse when God is still at
work. It will turn out right in Jesus name. Amen.

MINISTRY UPDATE

One, give thanks to God for all that He has done on this Mission To The
West Indies and Mission To America. It has been a two fold mission that
enabled me to reach so many people in several locations. My ministry was a
great blessing to many in Baltimore where I ministered at the Mountain of
Fire and Miracle Ministries Regional Headquarters for three days. Then I
went on do a three night meeting in Las Vegas. From Las Vegas, I went to
minister in a conference in Hemet, California. From there, I returned to
Sacramento where I joined my covenant brother, Pastor Cal Cook in a
meeting in Sacramento and from there we both went on to San Jose where I
preached for him. It was indeed an awesome time I had with my church
family in San Jose. I did not take a photo of the special welcome sign to
made for me. Please, contact them for the message: www.goldenaltar.org.
You will be glad you listened to it. I love that family. From San Jose, I
returned to preach for my friend, Pastor John Lucas.

Two, I must appreciate all my friends, family and partners who help me to
make this mission a huge success. The cost is great. But you made it
light. My God bless you richly in Jesus name. Amen. I must thank Pastor
Matthew Uponi who has been a consistent partner with me on this for many
years now. Special thanks to Barrister Bestman Nnwoka, Harcourt Owunari,
Vincent Onoke, Emily Solomon, Rowena Nelson and a few others who have
consistently supported me in reaching the nations with the gospel and
miracle power of the risen Christ. I must specially thank Pastor Cal Cook
and the Golden Altar Ministries in San Jose, California; Pastor Donna
Smiley in Sacramento, CA; Pastor John Lucas in Sacramento, CA; Pastor
Margie Mitchell in Elyria, OH; Pastor Joseph Adetola in Baltimore, MD; Dr.
Toyin Opesanmi in Maryland; Pastor Solomon Folorunsho in Benin City,
Nigeria; Dr. Jonathan Alao in Benin City, Nigeria; Rev. Austin Oviawe in
Abuja, Nigeria; Dr. Bankole Jefferson in Lagos, Nigeria; Rev. David
Ajiboye in Lagos, Nigeria and others I may be forgetting right now. I can
forget you but God will never forget your labor of love. Special thanks to
my darling wife and partner in life and ministry, Princess Monivi and my
darling daughters. You all made this mission possible in your own style. I
appreciate all of you.

Three, please, pray about planting a precious seed at this time as I
return to Nigeria to continue this weekend outreach to Calabar, Cross
Rivers State. Next weekend, I go to Asaba. First week in September I am in
Port Harcourt and Warri by the weekend. The weekend after, I shall be away
to Jos, Plateau State. Then, September 14 to 27, 2011, Mission To The
United Kingdom. Great Britain, get ready for me!

P. S.: Four ways you can plant your seeds: one, you can do a bank transfer
from your account to my accounts either in the United States of America or
Nigeria. I can send you the details at your request.

Two, you can make checks to Michael Amamieye and mail to our U.S. office
in California. I can send the address at your request.

Three, you can walk into any of our banks near you. Let me know where you
are located and I will send you the details.

Four, you can do either a Western Union or Money Gram transfer.

Just As He Said

Text: Genesis 21:1.

“And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as
he had spoken.”

I cannot get away from this word because it is the word the Lord has used
to set the month for me and for all my partners around the world. No human
being can be this close to keeping their promises just like God no matter
how hard they try. There is always the fallible part of us that shows up
even when we make every effort to keep our words. I have realized that it
is not a function of position or power or otherwise. Not even money can
bring us to this place. Only God has the monopoly of saying what He says
and seeing to it that it comes to pass.

As I write this message, I am reminded of our former President, General
Olusegun Obasanjo. This man has been most privileged in life to be a
military head of state and a two term president of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria. He was also head of the African Union as well as ECOWAS. Yet,
when his late wife, Stella died, he made one of the most profound
statements a man would ever make. He said, twice he made a promise to his
wife and on those two occasions, he failed to keep his promise. The first
time, he promised to give her a golden jubilee party when she turned
fifty. Unfortunately for her, he was incarcerated. Even though he was a
former military head of state and as at that time highly respected in the
comity of nations, he was just unable to keep his promise to his wife.

The second time, he promised to make it up to her at her sixtieth
birthday. This time around, she was dead. The cold hands of death defied
him. Even though at this time, he was president of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria, reputed to be the most populous black nation and one of the
richest nations on earth. He was also Chairman of African Union. Yet, he
was so powerless to keep a promise he made as a human being. How this can
happen to us sometimes when we make promises? Just when we earnestly
desire to keep our promises, we are incarcerated. We find ourselves in
some sort of prison where we are just not able to keep our promises. It
can even get worse than been unable when it seems like we are dead. We
become totally divorced from every thing that will enable us keep our
promises.

Even though this can happen to human beings, it can never happen to God.
God will keep His promise to you no matter how long it takes. For Abraham
and Sarah, it seemed like all hope was lost. When hope is lost, everything
seems to be lost. This is so because hope is that tiny thread that
connects us to the next meal, the next job, the next promotion, the next
station. Hope is one rich treasure that we all have in one. No matter how
bad things get, don’t lose it. Keep your hope alive. Be hopeful. The sun
will shine again. The moon will shine again. The day will follow night.
The rain will come after the heat. After twelve midnight is one in the
morning.

“Full of hope, you’ll relax, confident again; you’ll look around, sit
back, and take it easy.” Job 11:18. The Message Version.

Men will fail you just as you have failed many people in your little life
on earth. But God never fails. Whatever He said He will do with you or for
you or through you, He will see to it that it comes to pass just as He
said it. He never fails. He will not experiment with you. “…for He [God]
Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave
you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any
degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down ( relax My hold
on you)! [ Assuredly not!].” Heb. 13:5. Amplified Version.

Three things about God’s word I wish to remind you of. One, God creates
His universe with His word. Only once we find God deep His hands in mud to
make something and that was when the human frame was formed in Gen. 2:7.
Every time we see God create, He does it by speaking words. Nothing
happens unless He speaks it first. “The fact is, GOD, the Master, does
nothing without first telling his prophets the whole story.” Amos 3:7. The
Message Version. That is why you will see in Genesis one, nine times, the
Bible said, “And God said…” Each time He said, things were created. If God
wants to create your world, He will speak His word to you directly or
indirectly. You will have to commit to hear Him speak His word to you and
hold on to that word no matter how long it takes to come to pass.

Two, God’s word are seeds. A seed has the capacity to reproduce itself
only when planted. God treats His word as seeds because they are. “…The
seed is the word of God.” Luke 8:11. You can eat your seed or you can
plant it. Every time a seed is ignored, it never releases what is inside.
When that seed is planted, it dies and then the reproduction process
begins. “Listen carefully: Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the
ground, dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat. But
if it is buried, it sprouts and reproduces itself many times over.” John
12:24. The Message Version. Every word that God has spoken to you is your
seed. Plant it into your world by speaking what He has said. God’s
universe hears His voice. Speak His word and your world will hear God’s
voice in your voice and His word will come to pass in your life.

Three, God’s word is the only constant. Everything else changes but His
word. When it is all over, His word will remain. People come and go.
Everything takes their turn in the wheel of time. But His word is the
same. He has never changed His word at all. “Heaven and earth shall pass
away, but my words shall not pass away.” Matt. 24:35. Build your life,
marriage, business, career, finances, etc on the rock of His word.
Formulas will fail. Policies will fail. Plans will fail. Governments will
fail. Your spouse will fail. But God’s word never fails.

It is well!

Yours truly,
In covenant bond with Jehovah,

The Power of The Cross

“Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the
physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner
partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might
bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death —
that is, the devil —
And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who
through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the
whole course of their lives.” Hebrews 2:14 & 15.

From the fall of man, the most dreadful weapon the enemy had on man has
been death. Man was created to live like God who never dies or ceases to
exist. Sin brought about the fall of man from that high estate of being.
Rom. 3:23. Death became the downfall and final end of mankind. It became
an appointment for man to live and die. Heb. 9:27. Every human being born
into this world looked forward to this appointment. In fact, in Genesis
five, you will read the cycle of man thus, a man is born, he lives for a
period of time, gives birth to children, then lives for some more time and
then he dies.

As man lived like this, the fear of death became a controlling force in
his daily existence. The worse part of this experience is the fact that
man was not in control of his time here on earth to decide how long he
lives and when he dies. God in His master plan, set in motion the
redemption of man back to his never dying state. The only way to conquer
death was for God, who never dies, to die Himself. He came in the Person
of Jesus Christ, the God man. Jesus went the way of the cross. The cross
became the bridge back to the never ending life of God that man lost in
the Garden of Eden. Jesus died having paid all that was required for the
total redemption of man. He was buried and after three days, He rose from
the dead.

The victory of Christ on the cross was to settle the payment of death for
all mankind through out eternity. For all eternity, Jesus destroyed the
power and controlling influence of death over man. The cross of Jesus, His
death, burial and resurrection put paid to the dreadful impact of death on
man. What that means is that you cannot be destroyed by death. You don’t
have to be controlled by death any more. You can live and not die. You can
live without the fear of death. You can live for as long as you want to
live here on earth. When you are tired here or satisfied, you can put off
this old man and put on a new man that lives for ever.

What Jesus accomplished on the cross for you is more than enough to keep
you free for all eternity from death. You were delivered more than two
thousand years ago at the cross when Jesus Christ hung and died. From this
day, as we celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus
Christ, enter into your total freedom from every form of bondage again to
the Devil and death. Those nagging thoughts of death you have been
battling with, you can super impose the cross of Jesus Christ on them.
Those images of death that have been terrorizing you, take them to the
cross. The debt to death was paid in full at the cross. The demands of
death have been settled at the cross. The cross is your power over Satan,
his demon cohorts and death. Tell the Devil to write whatever death
sentence he has against you at the foot of the cross. Paste the cross
across your mind and life. Jesus died so that you will live. The two of
you cannot pay the same price for one product. No debt is paid twice. He
paid it in full so that you can enjoy life here and after now. Because He
lives, He said that you shall live also. “…because I live, you will live
also.” John 14:19.

If you have not accepted Jesus into your heart, say this simple prayer out
loud: Jesus, I believe in my heart that You died for me. Come into my
heart and be my Lord and Master from this day forward. I believe that I am
saved in Jesus name. Amen.

I speak life into your being today. You shall live and not die. You shall
live a full life, a satisfied life and a good life in Jesus name. Amen.

From this day, speak your redemption realities based on what Jesus did on
the cross. Don’t allow the Devil to intimidate you anymore. You are more
than a conqueror! Enjoy your redemption in Jesus Christ! Happy
Resurrection!

I Will Rise Again!

Text: Matthew 27:63

From our text, we see the example that Jesus set for us. Several times, He
spoke privately and publicly that He was going to be killed and that after
three days, He said, I Will Rise Again! He said it in Matthew 16:21;
17:23; 20:19. Then the people said it in Matthew 26:61 and in our text.
What He said about Himself privately was what He said about Himself
publicly. What He said to His disciples was what He said to the people.
Jesus was consistent in His speaking. It is this consistency that He is
teaching us by His example.

Christianity has been defined as the great confession of our faith in the
Person of Jesus Christ. Why is it a great confession? It is because of the
content of the confession. You say what is not possible because you have
the One who makes it possible. He is the Greater One who resides in each
of us. Everyone knows that when a man dies, he does not rise again. He is
gone. Jesus came on the scene and said what was not practicable and
possible. To the people, He was a deceiver because what He said He would
do was not possible. Today, more than two thousand years, we have
evidences that what He was came to pass. More than two billion living
human beings today cannot be wrong: Jesus is alive!

Nothing happens to you in Christianity without you saying some things long
enough for them to work for you. Before a man experiences the new birth,
He must confess the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Rom. 10:9-10. No one can be
saved without making that confession. The power is released when you say
it out loud. Even for healing, many times, I have seen healing miracles
when the individual or groups of persons have publicly confessed it. You
must say it before you see it. This is the secret to mass miracles when a
crowd is led by the preacher to say after him, God does mass miracles. It
is so simple you need a theologian to confuse you.

Jesus said it severally, I will rise again. He said it privately and
publicly. He said it consistently and courageously. He never waivered in
His confession. The lesson here today is that you and I must speak
consistently what we want to see in our marriages, family, businesses,
offices, ministries and churches. Speak consistently what you want to see
in your city or country. What you say is what you will see. If what you
are seeing is not what you want to see, change it by saying what you want
to see. Speak it until people say what you have said about yourself.

Yes, when they have heard what you have said, they will take you up on
that like they did Jesus. He did not try to prove to them anything. He
lived His life based on what was written. So, you are not trying to prove
to them anything. You are living your script. Do it well. Do it with
courage because eventually, they will say what you said when it comes to
pass.

I remember preaching at Bomadi town. For decades, no electricity, no
meaningful development. One night when I preached on Let There Be Light.
At the crusade grounds, I asked everyone to face the four corners of the
town and call for light. The town people heard us.

After many governments have made promises to give them electricity with no
fulfillment. That night after the crusade, the electricity company of
Nigeria gave Bomadi electricity for the first time. Guess what? The news
went into town that last night when those church people were shouting let
there be light, now the light has come. Someone said that they have to
take these church people seriously. Listen to me when you speak and God
confirms your word, people will take you seriously the next time they
listen to you. Now, you visit that town and you will find several
developmental projects by the government. It is happening because we
spoke: let there be light. Now, you speak what you want to see because it
shall come to pass.
